This Huge Naruto Exhibition In KL Has 21 Themed Zones, A VR Experience & Character Photo Ops

Naruto exhibition at Pavilion Bukit Jalil

You don’t have to follow the Naruto series to know who the blonde, spiky-haired boy in bright orange slacks is. Alongside other favourites like One Piece and Slam Dunk, the cult anime has a loyal following who will ‘Naruto run’ and list out all their favourite jutsus on cue.

If you’re a Naruto fan, good news. You can now immerse yourself in the world of Naruto and its spin-off Buruto at the Naruto TV Animation 20th Anniversary Exhibition Malaysia. Featuring 21 themed zones comprising a VR experience and eight on-site sets, the exhibition in KL brings to life key characters and moments from the series for fans.

21 themed zones & a VR experience

From now till 31st December 2023, the Naruto exhibition opens at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, covering a 10,000sqft area in the mall.

Even before stepping foot into the exhibition, fans can get up-close with a massive Nine-Tailed Fox, or Kurama, right outside the entrance.

But if you want the full Naruto experience, you’ll have to head inside the huge exhibition.

There are 21 thematic zones to explore, for diehard and casual fans alike. The former will be pleased to find famed ninja tools from the series, such as the kunai knife and flash bombs, on display.

You can also sit behind the desk in the Hokage Office surrounded by stacks of books and Naruto and Shikamaru by your side. This is just one of eight immersive zones that combine illustrated backdrops with life-sized 3D props so you can experience the anime IRL.

Even if you’re just a curious visitor, you’ll find lots to discover and enjoy – from a VR experience that lets you meet the characters from Naruto and Buruto’s universe, to an interactive Hidden Leaf Rasengan Training zone where you can practise making your own rasengan.

In the age of social media, no exhibition feels complete without photo zones.

Here, you’ll find various themed photo zones – including one that has silhouettes of characters backlit behind a shoji that you can have fun identifying. There are also life-sized characters to pose with.

At the end of your Naruto journey, pop by the retail store to check out a wide range of Naruto merchandise to add to your collection. Gems here include action figures and apparel.

Regular tickets are RM68/adult or RM28/child. But if you want the VR experience with a tour of the multiple zones, prices are RM98/adult or RM48/child. You can purchase tickets at the door or online here.
