One Square in Petaling Jaya
If you like lingering at malls that don’t feel like malls – hubs that gather good grub, like Kuala Lumpur’s buzzy Steppes – here’s a new place to stake out: One Square. The lifestyle hub is expected to open on 23rd October 2026 in Petaling Jaya, with popular cafes and dessert haunts.
Where is One Square?
One Square is located in the vicinity of the TV3 building in PJ’s Bandar Utama township, sitting between M World Hotel and One World Hotel.

It’s accessible by public transport via a covered pedestrian walkway from the Bandar Utama MRT and LRT stations – it takes around 10 minutes to walk from the station to here. Vehicles have two ways to enter One Square, from First Avenue Road and Dataran Bandar Utama, and 210 on-site parking bays to make the most of.

Food is always the subject of Malaysians’ conversations, and One Square doesn’t skimp on options.
While the bulk of its space is dedicated to event spaces, with four variations set indoors and outdoors, find retail shops focusing on food, wellness, and essentials tucked within the new neighbourhood hub.

Look forward to shopping for essentials at the Village Grocer and AA Pharmacy, and squeezing in a Pilates session at The Flow Studio.
On the food front, popular eateries will have outlets set up here, including Yellow Brick Road, Contour, Tap Room, and Bengbeng Sourdough. For desserts and drinks, turn to Guru Guru for ice cream, EM’S Cookies for soft cookies, and Ijo Matcha for matcha drinks.
Tea Garden and Mama Kim – Wellness Kitchen will offer comfort local dishes at their branches here.
