What is Steppes?
Steppes is a lifestyle hub that opened in June 2026. It is designed to be a convenient one-stop destination for Mont Kiara residents, with an open-air concept to allow natural sunlight to flow through. While it can get hot because of this, the combination of lush greenery and fan posts here will cool you down in no time.
Steppes is mostly connected by ramps and steps, too, making it wheelchair-accessible and stroller-friendly.
Additionally, the hub is pet–friendly, with the condition that pets must be in strollers or carriers at all times. But do take note of each store’s own pet access policy – it’s best to check with the specific restaurant or store before heading inside with your furry companion.
How to get to Steppes?
Steppes is situated in the middle of the Segambut settlement area, which means the surrounding access roads are quite narrow. Expect potential bottlenecks during peak hours and weekends, so it’s worth timing your visit accordingly or arriving early.
As for parking, both shaded and outdoor parking levels are available at Steppes. The parking rates are RM2 for the first hour and RM1 for each subsequent hour. Motorcyclists only have to pay RM2 per entry.
No charges are made if you’re only passing through for less than 15 minutes. You can inform your Grab driver of this bit of information so you can be dropped off at Steppes’ dedicated drop-off spot.
