Man recreates Siti Nurhaliza’s portrait using 391 Rubik’s Cubes
Malaysia is home to some of the most talented and creative individuals. As we are just a few days away from the 64th Independence Day, where we get to celebrate the true spirit of being a proud Malaysian, this gifted man is winning hearts and impressing netizens with his amazing talent to recreate portraits using Rubik’s Cubes.
Man goes viral for recreating portraits out of Rubik’s Cubes

Netizen @abam.takaful, who also goes by the name Zabli Ab Hadi, went viral on TikTok after posting a video of him recreating portraits using Rubik’s Cubes. His initial video in which he pays tribute to the late Malaysian singer Siti Sarah, who passed away due to Covid-19 after giving birth, has garnered over 300,000 views on the video sharing platform. The video caught the attention of a lot of Malaysians, including the legendary singer Dato Siti Nurhaliza who praised Zabli by commenting on his video.

Realising that he’s attracted quite the attention on the social media platform, Zabli posted another video showing his appreciation for Siti Nurhaliza yesterday in which he recreated her portrait using 391 Rubik’s Cube. Zabli also explained in his video that it takes about three to four hours for him to complete the portrait.
Netizens impressed by Zabli’s talent to recreate images using Rubik’s Cubes
Since his posting, Zabli’s video has gone racked up over 1.5 million views, more than 220,000 likes and over 12,000 comments on TikTok. Malaysians are pouring in with their love and support for Zabli by complimenting him for the work.

One netizen said people who can do this are geniuses. “You’re the best, God has given you a superb talent,” they wrote.

Meanwhile, another netizen said they usually only see this kind of video coming from westerners but was surprised to know that there are Malaysians who can do the same.

Netizen @just_me on the other hand, wrote “Malaysians are amazing. They can do anything. Malaysia Boleh!” and cheered Merdeka in support of the local talent.

It is really amazing to see how talented Malaysians can be. While we are certainly in a digital era, we hope more Malaysians can support artists with raw talent like Zabli.
