Oasis at Sunway Pyramid
When it comes to the best shopping malls in Klang Valley, locals can easily list 10 off the top of their heads. But one that stands out for mall rats is Sunway Pyramid. While we can easily spend an entire day there, the eye-popping Egyptian-themed mall recently expanded with a new OASIS wing spanning 300,000sqft.
As the slew of new food and retail additions can be quite overwhelming, read on for an unofficial directory of the OASIS – and thank us later.
The new Oasis wing with over 100 brands
The first wave of retail and dining outlets are now open at Sunway Pyramid’s new OASIS, which is made up of 4 floors housing over 100 brands. You’ll find the new multi-level wing accessible from the mall’s Orange and Blue atriums, and connected by new escalators so you don’t have to walk too far to get from one shop to another.
The wing’s tenants include shops that have relocated and expanded, and also fresh faces that’ll make their debuts at Sunway Pyramid.
What to do at Oasis
– Retail –
The mall’s retail list is already extensive, but you’ll find additions and relocations at OASIS. They include Ecco, Li-Ning, East India Company, Sports Direct, LEGO Certified Store, AKEMI Home, and Urban Revivo, as well as the below retailers:
1. MUJI
The MUJI outlet at Sunway Pyramid feels like a department store, compared to their other regular outlets in Malaysia. The popular no-brand brand has relocated and expanded within the mall, quadrupling in size to cover a total of 26,999 sqft. To put the size into perspective, the shop has not just a couple, but a whopping six entrances.
Beyond the apparel, household goods, furniture, and stationery that the brand is best known for, the huge store is now upgraded with a coffee bar, a gelato counter, and complimentary alteration services, similar to their Mid Valley outlet.
A spacious seating area next to the food counters is where you can plop down with your purchases at step and bar seats set next to huge windows.
The food corner will be a highlight – there are halal snacks such as chocolate- and matcha-coated strawberries and Salted Egg Salmon Fish Skin (RM16.90).

2. Jaya Grocer
The flagship Jaya Grocer at OASIS goes beyond your regular neighbourhood outlet. The aesthetics have been completely levelled up – think stylish moon pendant lights, classy aisle signs, and even a show-stopping display of fruits and vegetables in a farm truck at the entrance.
The grocery store also houses vendors with ready-to-eat meals like loaded bagels from I’m Bagel, freshly prepared sushi from Toyosuya, and comfort Korean food from K Kitchen.
The retail racks here mimic pantry storage.
As for groceries, there are neatly stocked aisles and dedicated shelves towards the back of the store for a range of Korean and Japanese products, as well in-house pantry items from the UK’s Sainsbury’s, like biscuits, tea, and soft drinks.
Unit: LG2.130
3. H&M Home
H&M Home, the homeware extension of the fashion retailer, has tasteful, boho-glam tableware, bed linens, ceramic decor, a bevy of Christmas ornaments, and more to help you kickstart your end-of-year home shopping spree. The store is connected to the existing H&M outlet in Sunway Pyramid, but has its own dedicated entrance at OASIS.
Unit: GF.118A & 118B
4. Innisfree
Along with new outlets from The Face Shop and Laniege, Korea’s popular skincare brand Innisfree has relocated to a corner store at the new wing too. Stock up on their go-to green tea line and other best-selling products.
SEVENTEEN fans can also spot a huge poster of Mingyu, who is a model for the brand, at the industrial-style store.
Unit: G1.123C
5. MIX
If you’ve been seeing those XXL-sized snacks on your social media feed and want a chomp of them, head to the MIX store here. Beyond the aisles of regional snacks that can’t be found at typical grocery stores, they have a collection of blown-up versions of Cup Noodles, Lays, and Hot Kid eye-catchingly displayed by the entrance.
Unit: LG2.132A & 132B
6. TMT Megastore
For all your tech needs, TMT Megastore by Thunder Match has relocated in the mall to bring you even more gadgets and the latest tech goods at their larger space. Pop into the store to shop their lineup of brands at dedicated corners, including Apple, Sonos, and Marshall.
Unit: F1.85A

You might be wondering what else the new wing is cooking up. There are a collection of new eateries congregating and operating mainly at LG1 of the OASIS, including branches of Din by Din Tai Fung, Ben’s Cookies, Cinnabon, Kakatoo, Gula Cakery, Komugi, PlayMade, and Lung Ngen Coffee.
But here are some of our highlights:
7. Pineyard
Janda Baik’s popular Pineyard has expanded with their first cafe outlet at Sunway Pyramid. The corner shop may be cosy in size, but the cafe’s menu packs a list of all its best-sellers, such as the Big Breakfast (RM33) and Meatball Pasta (RM26).
Next to the cashier, a glass case of must-try pastries like Smoked Duck Baguette (RM12) and Salted Egg Croissants (RM12) will entice you to give them a try.
Unit: LG2.133A
8. VCR
KL’s popular VCR has opened their latest outlet at the mall, serving patrons hearty brunch staples and signature dishes beloved of its establishment. The new cafe space is stylish, featuring the same sophisticated monochromatic interior as its other six outlets in Malaysia.

Upcoming stores planned for Oasis
This list offers a glimpse of what shoppers can expect at OASIS. The wing officially opened on 1st November, with many more stores expected to open in the coming weeks and months to beef up its arsenal of retailers and eateries.
Coffee spots Tim Hortons and ZUS Signature have already put up signs indicating their arrival, while Dubai’s Brands For Less is expected to bring in luxury goods at lower prices at its first store in Malaysia here.
Eateries such as Whisk, YGF Malatang, and ChaPanda will join the directory list soon too, with storefronts already spotted in the multi-level space.
Look forward to new openings at Sunway Pyramid’s Oasis
