UNIQLO’s first standalone store at DA Square in Selangor got Malaysians excitedly making trips to the vast outlet for high-quality stylish apparels. Needless to say, the recent opening of yet another new roadside store in the country has got us all beyond thrilled – most particularly the Penang kias.
Freshly opened on 6th October 2023, the very first UNIQLO roadside store in Penang in Tanjung Bungah is a commodious outlet that houses a variety of their LifeWear collections.

New UNIQLO roadside store at Tree Square
Emerging amidst the bustling markets and hawker centres in Penang, the very first UNIQLO roadside store in the state at Tree Square beckons – even from afar, you’ll be able to spot its striking sleek facade of pristine white walls reflecting dancing sun rays and pop of bold red from the brand’s ubiquitous logo.
The standalone’s store spacious parking lot is a huge draw for shoppers looking to avoid the mall crowds.
The massive UNIQLO outlet has just thrown its doors open to the public for its grand opening on 6th October, featuring a whole slew of apparel that embodies the brand’s ethos of simplicity, quality and fashion.
Roam through the carefully curated store and be mesmerised by the inspiring displays of clothes and accessories that line the shelves and drape the mannequins.
From smart office wear and activewear to comfy pyjamas, you’ll find all these items organised within the thoughtfully arranged store layout. Apparel here are sorted according to collection and category, making it convenient to navigate through the store even if you’re quickly popping in for essentials.
You’ll find the usual enticing range of UNIQLO collections that we all know and love, including their LifeWear collection that boasts daily essentials. There’s also a HeatTech corner for those looking to grab a warm outfit for their upcoming overseas holiday, and an AIRism section that has garments perfect for the sweltering days in Malaysia.
A diverse range of clothing for men and women including denim bottoms, cargo pants, and outerwear also fill the racks.
Look out for the the trademark UT collections, where the brand features limited edition apparel and accessories flaunting unique designs from their collaboration with designers and artists.
From now till 12th October, there are exciting deals to snag when you shop at the outlet – find exclusive opening offers on a range of essentials including basic T-shirts, hoodies, stretchy leggings, and collared tops. Just look out for the red price tags that let you know which items are on sale.
Freebies & vouchers for a limited time at the new roadside store
As a welcome gift to shoppers, the outlet is offering a RM15 coupon to all first-time shoppers. Simply download the UNIQLO app, sign up as a member, and redeem the welcome coupon as you are paying for your new finds at the counter.
You’ll also want to be at the store as early as 10am, as there’ll be two door gifts to snag: a Mucca Pouch and a chill bottle of Cold Brew Coffee. Do note that these freebies are only available till 8th October, and for the first 500 customers daily.
For those planning to splurge and treat themselves to a complete wardrobe overhaul ahead of the looming New Year’s, don’t miss out on redeeming a special UNIQLO tumbler with every purchase of RM300 in a single receipt before leaving the store.
You’ll also be entitled to a complimentary cup of Ludwig soft serve with the same receipt, so do stop by the ice cream booth to savour some velvety raspberry or vanilla swirls.
