Formerly known as Amazon Vegan, RightSide proudly hails themselves as Malaysia’s first plant-based fast-food chain. Their menu boasts a delectable selection of American-style juicy vegan burgers and creamy soft serves that’ll have you coming back for more.

When it comes to their burger patties, diners can choose ZeroBeef or ZeroLamb. They replace the traditional meat choices in a hefty burger, all while retaining a chewy texture akin to real meat.

2. Kusa Vegan – vegan Japanese food from sushi to ramen

When we think of ramen, we think of slurpy noodles swimming in a flavourful bone broth. Over at Kusa Vegan, a zen-like restaurant, they serve vegan-friendly Japanese food with a local flair, subbing the usual meat with tofu, tempeh, and a variety of mushrooms.

The Kusa Ramen (RM22) is a highlight. This comforting bowl of warmth comprises a broth stewed with six local spices, which forms the perfect bed for tofu, broccoli, seaweed and noodles.

The Vegan Place is a relatively new cafe with a chic dining area well-flooded with natural light. But they’ve become popular among the health conscious in Klang Valley for their diverse range of vegan delights that span both Western and local culinary items.
