Zepp Kuala Lumpur, or simply Zepp KL, is operated by Zepp Hall Network Inc, a subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment Japan.
Opened in 2022, the KL indoor music hall is part of the renowned Zepp music venue group from Japan, and is one of just two international Zepp locations. It’s located in the basement level of LaLaport BBCC, a mall in the heart of the city, so getting to the venue is pretty convenient.

While the hall serves as a multi-purpose event space, it is designed to primarily host live-band performances. Past concerts here include international, K-pop, and Japanese acts such as Babymetal, LANY, WOODZ, and Rex Orange County.
What is the capacity for Zepp KL?
Zepp KL can accommodate about 2,500 attendees during a single event.
There’s a large standing area on the ground floor that can hold 2,066 concert-goers, and 216 fixed balcony seats on the second floor. As for the VIP boxes, also on the second floor, these can accommodate 32 individuals.

The best concert seats at Zepp KL depend on what type of experience you’re looking for.
If you want to be closest to the stage, aim for standing tickets, often called Rock Zone, that have a straight-on view of the stage.
Some concerts are planned with VIP and standard standing tickets. Depending on your budget, snag VIP for closer views and standard ones for decent views from just slightly further back.
For max comfort and seats closest to the stage, the VIP boxes 4 and 8 are your best picks, which are just a floor above the standing area, on the left and right. Each elevated VIP box can hold up to 8 concert-goers.
Depending on how VIP box tickets are sold, you can opt to split the cost for box seats with your friends for a VIP box or pay a per-pax ticket fee to gain entry to a VIP box.

Zepp KL is pretty intimate, so the upper floor seats are your best value tickets. These are numbered and sometimes divided into sections. The middle section seats – CAT 2 or PS2 – are usually the best value. You have a seat that’s not too far away from the artist on stage, all for a reasonable price of RM400-500.
And if you’re looking for affordability, the upper floor seats in CAT 3 or PS3 will be the most affordable seated zone. It usually sells for RM398, as it is the furthest section from the stage.
What you can & cannot bring
Zepp KL prohibits outside food and beverages, professional cameras, and smoking or vaping inside the venue. Dangerous items, sharp objects, and unofficial merch are also not permitted.
Bag size limitations follow the guidelines of event organisers, but generally, only small clutches or bags are allowed, while bigger backpacks and luggage are prohibited. These will be checked by security before entry. Zepp KL has lockers to rent, with a one-time fee of RM10 for smaller units and RM20 for bigger ones.
Typically, Zepp KL does not allow small children to be admitted into shows at their venue as a safety measure.
Where to park at Zepp KL?
If you’re travelling via private vehicle, you can park at either LaLaport BBCC’s Zone D Carpark or Malaysia Grand Bazaar’s B3 Carpark.
The parking is free for the first 3 hours. A fee of RM3 will be charged for each subsequent hour.
For drop-offs, there are three spots you can choose to get to Zepp KL. The nearest drop-off point is Menara EcoWorld, but if this spot gets clogged with vehicles, there’s also Metrojaya and Gourmet Street.
If you’re taking public transportation, get off at Hang Tuah station via LRT or Monorail. From there, you can head up to LaLaport BBCC via a walkway and go through the mall or down to Gourmet Street to get to Zepp KL.
How to get to Zepp KL from LaLaport BBCC?
Depending on the weather, going through the mall to get to Zepp KL is the best choice to avoid the rain. You’ll need to head down the escalator to the Ground Floor. Here, head to the left, past V88 Cafe, and straight to the other end.
You’ll come across an information desk on your way. Walk past it until you reach the exit to the East Entrance and out into Gourmet Street.
Straight ahead is where you’ll find the escalator down to Zepp KL, which takes you all the way to B2 level, where the hall is located.
On a good day, you can walk through Gourmet Street to get to Zepp KL. From Hang Tuah station, head down the escalator on the right, before the entrance to the mall.
Then, walk all the way to the other end of the street. The building is next to Padi House. Head down the escalators or steps to the B2 floor level, and you’ll reach Zepp KL.
