We don’t have to leave our comfy couches to enjoy a diverse range of movies on demand these days. But crystal-clear visuals and booming audio make stiff cinema seats bearable still.
For movie buffs who enjoy the cinema experience, good news. TGV Cinemas has a new bed cinema hall in Kuala Lumpur with next-level “seats” – full-blown Coway BEREX bed set-ups complete with fluffy pillows, comfy duvets, and relaxation modes.
The first bed cinema experience in KL
There’ll be no need to wiggle around to find a comfy position while watching a movie on the big screen. TGV Cinemas’ new INDULGE Coway BEREX cinema hall, only at Suria KLCC, has an intimate total of 17 Coway BEREX mattresses.
The beds are available in single and twin set-ups – it’ll be a serious upgrade to your typical movie outing whether going solo or having a levelled-up cosy date night with bae.
The controls can all be adjusted with a remote.
Reminiscent of a plush business cabin on an airplane, each luxurious bed comes with an accessible spot under the bed to stash your shoes and a call button for personalised service. If you’re worried about being too exposed while in complete relaxation mode, the beds also have privacy panels to give you that enclosed feeling.
As for the mattress itself, it isn’t your ordinary tilam. It’s a smart mattress with controls such as Smart Firmness and Smart Posture. These features let you adjust the mattress’ firmness and modify its angle to best support your head, back, and legs.
The bed has an automatic pressure distribution feature too, and a Relax Mode that simulates gentle, sleep-inducing movements to help ease you into that movie-watching headspace with a personal bucket of popcorn.
A gourmet meal and access to a private lounge
The INDULGE Coway BEREX hall isn’t just about beds and blankets.
Every visitor gets a full cinematic feast: a main course, with gourmet options such as Salmon Fusilli and Roasted Chicken & Vegetables, as well as a drink and dessert. These can be redeemed at a dedicated INDULGE counter.
Complimentary welcome drinks and light bites will kick off your movie experience at the hall. Other neat amenities you’ll find at the lounge are swivel tables for your snacks, mobile charging ports, and personal storage – all the VIP perks.
TGV Cinemas’ INDULGE Coway BEREX halls is priced RM120 per ticket, which includes a movie ticket, a meal with drink and dessert, and access to the private lounge.
