Evanescence is coming to Malaysia this November
You can tell your parents that the long side-swept bangs and overtly black clothing weren’t just a phase, as American rock band Evanescence has announced that they will be performing in Malaysia this year. Their 2026 concert tour will start in June across North America and Europe, before the band makes way to Kuala Lumpur to perform at the National Hockey Stadium on 28th November.
More than a decade since the band’s last performance in Malaysia

Evanescence’s upcoming performance in KL marks 14 years since the American rock band’s last appearance on Malaysian soil. The Malaysian capital city has also been designated as the only Southeast Asian city to be announced as part of their tour.
Concertgoers can expect the band to perform some of their beloved hits, such as Bring Me to Life and My Immortal, alongside new tracks from their upcoming album Sanctuary, which is set to be released in June this year.

American singer-songwriter Poppy will also be making an appearance as a special guest for Evanescence’s one-night performance, and it’ll also be her first time performing in KL. Fans can expect some songs from her most recent album, Empty Hands, to be performed live for the first time as well.
