Dinner In The Sky returns to KL until January 2026
It’s hard to go wrong with a dinner with a view. Now picture the glittering Kuala Lumpur skyline and illuminated skies as a backdrop, while you’re suspended 50m off the ground, legs dangling in the air, and a fork in your hand.
That’s Dinner In The Sky for you. This elevated dining experience is now finally returning to the city after a 5-year closure, with bookings open until January 2026.

Back in 2019, Dinner In The Sky opened in Malaysia, luring the curious and the hungry with its unique concept of dining in the air with the cityscape as the backdrop. How it all works: diners are lifted 50m above the ground – together with the dining table, chef, and all – by a crane and served a 3-course meal up in the air.
As a bonus, the suspended dining setup also rotates slowly throughout the dining course, giving guests a fair view of the surrounding cityscape.

After briefly ceasing operations during the Covid-19 pandemic, Dinner in the Sky officially relaunched in November and will stay open for just 3 months until January 2026.
The concept remains the same, but this time, guests are suspended over TREC KL, where an unblocked view of the Merdeka 118 building sets the backdrop for the thrilling dining experience.

The table ascends at 5.30pm and 7pm, with 22 diners invited to dine at a time, with a chef plating up meals directly in front of you.
Each session includes a 3-course meal, starting with a pumpkin soup starter accompanied by poached prawns or crispy sage, followed by a main course of wagyu ribs, chicken leg roulade, poached barramundi, or vegetarian-friendly mushroom risotto, and concluding with a warm coffee cake dessert.

While the dining duration is 60 minutes, the whole experience takes around 2 hours, including check-in at a VIP lounge, boarding, and take-off.
