XD Universe in SS15, Subang Jaya
K-pop fans in Malaysia often have to resort to online spaces to get our hands on merch of our favourite groups. Well, we now have spots like XD Universe to buy merch to support our bias and skip the delivery fees and wait times.
This new shop in SS15, Subang Jaya, is where you can shop for official K-pop albums and artist merchandise, and even get photocards from vending machines like in Korea.
Dedicated shelves for K-pop artists
XD Universe feels like one of those K-pop shops that you would bump into while in Myeongdong. This dedicated K-pop experience space opened back in October 2025 with official album collections from a slew of K-pop artists and photo spots like a lightstick wall that serves as a backdrop for fan events.

Find a wide selection of official K-pop albums from different K-pop generations, including BTS, Cortis, IVE, and ITZY, that you can buy right off the shelves. Each artist has a dedicated section on the shelves at the shop too, so it’ll be easy to find what you’re looking for, or just stumble upon a piece of merch of your ult group that you might not know existed.
The store also offers album preorder service, which lets you place an order for an album ahead of release and avoid the hefty delivery fees that come with direct purchases from a Korean website.

Besides albums, you can also shop till you drop for official merch such as lightsticks, tour collections, and plush keychains of your bias – or bias wrecker, ahem. There’s also a bin of magazines with K-pop idols as cover stars.
A photocard vending machine & fan-hosted events

Those with a photocard collection will be in for a treat at XD Universe. The shop has six draw card machines and a lucky draw machine to pull a random photocard from different boy and girl groups. The draw card machines will just need a token from the cashier, which costs RM10 per token.

There’s also a K-pop photobooth where you can strike a pose with your bias via a frame, and a fan-friendly cafe space with a lightstick wall for fans to enjoy the K-pop vibes and order drinks.

K-pop fans can look at hosting fan gatherings or idol birthday celebration parties at the store’s event space, too. They’ll have all the necessary items to transform it into a space for fandoms. You can book an event slot and view event guidelines here.
A new hangout spot for K-pop fans in Subang Jaya
According to XD Universe’s founder, Elina Chang, the shop was created to give Malaysian K-pop fans a space to connect with other fans and celebrate their favourite idols.
With the growing popularity of K-pop across the world, Malaysia included, it’ll be a new spot for locals to easily snag merch and have a community space for fan experiences.
