Aurum Theatre Is Screening La La Land, Michael & Both Wicked Movies With Sing-Alongs This October

If mouthing the lyrics during a musical has never felt like enough, Aurum Theatre is giving audiences permission to sing them out loud. From the 9th to 11th October 2026, its Movie, Music and Munch weekend will bring La La Land, Michael, Wicked and Wicked: For Good back to the big screen, alongside post-movie sing-alongs, themed meals and live performances.

Movie, Music & Munch is a three-day celebration of musical films taking place at Aurum Theatre, The Exchange TRX, from 9th to 11th October 2026. The event combines special movie screenings with post-movie sing-alongs, themed dining experiences and live performances.

The lineup begins with the La La Land movie musical, starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone as two aspiring artists pursuing their dreams in Los Angeles. Audiences can also catch Michael, the 2026 biopic starring Jaafar Jackson as his superstar uncle, Michael Jackson.

For those wishing to belt to Defying Gravity, both of the Wicked movies will also be screened in IMAX for the event. Together, the four movies is set to turn the weekend into a mini musical marathon for fans who prefer singing along instead of sitting silently through the credits.

Movie packages with sing-alongs, themed meals & free-flow drinks

Each screening package includes a movie ticket, a post-movie sing-along session, an A3 poster and free-flow soft drinks. Depending on the selected screening, guests will also be served either a themed buffet at The Cellar, or a high tea set at Kissa Cafe & Diner an hour before the movie begins.

The La La Land Escape Studio package is priced at RM165/pax, which includes a La La Land-inspired high tea set. Alternatively, its 2D screenings cost RM79/pax, and come with a themed buffet spread.

The Escape Studio screening of Michael is priced at RM165/pax, while IMAX screenings of Wicked and Wicked: For Good cost RM99/pax each. All meals will be served an hour before their respective screenings.

Free live band performances & dance floor at The Cellar

The music continues after the credits roll with live band and dance performances at The Cellar, from 9pm to 12am, on 10th and 11th October.

Entry is free for both special-screening customers and members of the public, so even those without a movie ticket can drop by and dance along to familiar musical hits.

Tickets can be purchased through GSC’s website or its mobile app. Prices range from RM79 to RM165/pax, depending on the movie and hall selected.
