BTS World Tour Arirang x Maybank Visa
It’s finally a Spring Day for Malaysian fans of BTS. Not literally – all we’ve got is summer over here – but fans can have a spring in their step after a drought of being left out of tour schedules and merch release lists.
Besides 2 concert dates scheduled in Malaysia, the latest merch drop from BTS on our shores comes in the form of an Arirang-themed Visa debit card, with the group’s name on a plastic card we can not leave home without.
What is the BTS World Tour Arirang Visa card for?
As the Worldwide Tour Sponsor for BTS World Tour Arirang – which unites the formidable 7-member group at 82 shows in 34 cities in five continents – Visa has been partnering with card issuers around the globe for limited-edition BTS Arirang debit cards. These cards are recognised as official merchandise by the group’s agency, HYBE, which means another merch item to cop and use in your daily life.
Each country gets its own special Arirang Visa card design, inspired by the colours and motifs of the BTS album and tour – it’ll feel a bit like getting your hands on an exclusive photocard, except this one carries your moolah.
How to get the card?

In Malaysia, Visa has collaborated with Maybank to launch the Arirang-themed Visa card: a slick, all-black matte card with the BTS tour name in shiny lettering and the Arirang red logo on the top right.
There are two ways to get it from the Malaysian bank: offline and online. Here’s how:
Offline
From 23rd September 2026 onwards, fans can head to 12 Maybank branches nationwide to get their hands on the BTS World Tour Arirang Maybank Visa card.
The branches all open at 9.30am on weekdays, with card replacements and applications for new Maybank accounts to secure the card all done over the counter.
To ensure there are enough cards to go around, each branch has a strict daily 60-card issuance rule – in other words, each bank will only grant 60 BTS Visa cards per day to 60 customers. Expect queues even before opening hours because of this.

Once you’re through the bank doors as one of 60 lucky fans of the day, it’ll be time to cheer. Look forward to fast service from bank staff who’ll hand you a queue number, and proceed to take your MyKad or passport, current debit card if not lost, and a thumbprint for application when your number is called. At the end of the process, you’ll be issued the BTS Visa card along with an envelope containing a sticker and celebratory message.
There’s a small “replacement” fee of RM12 to get the card, which will be deducted from your Maybank account funds.

Online
Opt to skip the physical queues altogether if you’re an existing Maybank debit cardholder. You can get the BTS World Tour Arirang card online through the bank’s Maybank2u website, with online replacement requests accepted from 28th September onwards.
There’s also a RM12 replacement fee for this option, but it’ll be free if you have just 12 months left before your card’s expiry date.
Here’s how to submit a replacement request online:
- Log in to Maybank2u
- Go to Settings, select ‘Cards’
- Select ‘Manage Debit Cards’, then ‘Debit Card – Replace, Activate & Block’
- Click the three dots next to your debit card, select ‘Replace/Renew Card’
- Find the BTS World Tour Arirang debit card as your design of choice, and then click Next
- Fill in your delivery address, acknowledge the Terms & Conditions, and click ‘Submit’
- Verify your request with an SMS TAC or Secure 2U via the Maybank2U app
- Voilà, the replacement has been processed

Not every fan can say they have a Visa card with their favourite group on it. If you identify as an ARMY, the limited-edition BTS World Tour Arirang Visa card will be one to get, even if the process to get them might feel a little like the war for tickets.
