More worth-it queues are in the future for ARMY, the fans of BTS. After the flurry of excitement for the special-edition Arirang VISA debit cards that attracted queues across several Malaysian states, there’s another event heading to Malaysia to mark the pop superstars’ two shows in Kuala Lumpur on 12th and 13th December: the BTS POP-UP: Arirang.

While our neighbours in Singapore may be getting the BTS THE CITY ARIRANG experience, Malaysian fans can skip the trip across the Causeway to get merchandise from the BTS POP-UP: ARIRANG in Malaysia.

The special pop-up has been held in cities with concert dates on the Arirang tour, bringing fans merchandise inspired by BTS’ fifth full-length studio album, Arirang.

It carries a collection of merch different from the ones sold at the concert. They include apparel, collector vinyls, bags, posters, candles, and many more items that put a modern touch on traditional Korean aesthetics, while sticking close to the album’s theme.

The pop-up’s arrival in Malaysia was revealed by KPOPMERCH Pop-Up on X, formerly Twitter, in a post and an attached poster. While KL is part of the “coming soon” list, alongside cities Chengdu, Kaohsiung, Berlin, Bangkok, and Jakarta, no further details about the dates or location of the pop-up in Malaysia were revealed.

The pop-up has typically been held for 3 weeks in each city it has dropped by, with visitors required to book a time slot online to help with crowd control.

Fans can expect an official announcement to be released by the group’s agency, BigHit Music, on Weverse.
