K-beauty geeks in Malaysia might remember HERMO. The online beauty store was one of the few places we could turn to for a galore of K-beauty products without a trip to Korea involved.
The brand has since made a comeback with a physical store at Kuala Lumpur’s The Campus. Consider it our very own version of Korea’s Olive Young with a slew of K-beauty products – all of which are currently sporting a 20% off storewide opening discount.
What to shop at HERMO
Online shopping has its benefits, but if you want to actually feel how a product suits your skin, have HERMO on your radar. The beauty store takes up a sizable retail space at Ampang’s The Campus, facing the Universal Bakehouse there, with shelves stocked exclusively with K-beauty brands.
Find dedicated shelves for Torriden, COSRX, Dr. Althea, Skinfood, Manyo, and Some By Mi, alongside harder-to-find brands in Malaysia, namely Sungboon Editor (sbedt), SOONDING, ilso, Nutseline, Arencia, Purito, EQQUALBERRY, FRANKLY, and Banobagi.
Each K-beauty brand has a complete range of products – serums, creams, essences, moisturisers, sunscreens, sheet masks, toners, and cleansers – so you can look forward to completing a 10-step Korean skincare routine from a single brand.
Some highlight viral products here include ilso’s sebum-busting Super Melting Sebum Softener and No Problem Spot Softener, sbedt’s skin-plumping Deep Collagen Retinol, and Dr. Althea’s hygienically packaged Cleansing Balms.
So you’re not left guessing how your skin reacts to a serum or moisturiser, all of the products have testers on the shelves, each marked with a black-and-white sticker.
