Couple Has Epic Bomba-Themed Wedding Photoshoot; Even Re-enacts Famous Movie Scenes

Bomba-themed wedding photoshoot

Happy couples often look to pristine beaches or oversea locales for idyllic wedding photoshoots spots. But sometimes, wedding photographs that are just as meaningful for the blissful bride and groom can be achieved just about anywhere.

Case in point – this couple from Perak who had a bomba-themed wedding photoshoot to celebrate their special day and pay homage to the groom’s valiant job. The resulting photos, taken at a balai bomba, looked like movie stills. In 1 of them, the coupled even re-enacted a famous scene from Spider-Man.

Wedding photos that look like scenes out of movies

The series of wedding photos from the couple’s photoshoot were shared to Facebook by Fitrin Ruslee, a wedding photographer based in Perak. He captioned the post “I love you Abang Bomba”, tagging the happy couple, Nikisa Aqila and Zam Izamani.

While the bride can be seen in a flowy white wedding dress and tiara, which is the typical attire of brides during wedding photoshoots, her groom was photographed in full bomba gear – camouflage uniform, military boots, fire-safety helmet and even gloves. Their contrasting outfits stood out against their backdrop, a fire engine.

Though unconventional, the photos taken by Ruslee are nonetheless breathtaking.

As bomba personnel are considered superheroes to many as they risk their lives on the daily to keep us safe, it felt apt that the couple should re-enact the famous kiss scene from SpiderMan, with the groom taking on the role of the well-known superhero and dangling upside-down while looking lovingly into his bride’s eyes.

As if that was not epic enough, one of the photos in the series had a house going up in flames as its backdrop. The groom, pictured carrying his bride away from a house, makes reference to the brave, heroic acts of abang bomba that we often see in the media. While Ruslee said in a comment that the photo was edited, it did look impressive enough to pass off as a Hollywood movie poster.

In an especially heartwarming photo, the bride is even photographed handing a water bottle to her hard-working groom while he is down on 1 knee, carrying a heavy roll of fire hose on his shoulder. In another photo, she smiles while dabbing sweat off his face with a piece of tissue.
