Desa ParkCity’s Year-End Lights Festival
We’re soon bidding adieu to 2023, and the anticipation of spending time with friends and fam during the year-end holiday is quickly kicking in. Lucky for us, the choices in Klang Valley don’t disappoint – whether it’s by exploring a newly opened mall or visiting an exhibition, there’s plenty to do on a day off.
If you want to be spellbound by 60,000 LED lights decorating trees and illuminating sculptures as you usher in the joys of the holiday season, head to Desa ParkCity’s Year-End Light Festival. The event takes place from now till 7th January 2024, and entry is free.

There’s something about lights glittering in the dark that captivate us.
While it may be difficult to spot stars in the night sky in bustling KL, the ParkCity Year-End Light Festival at Desa ParkCity offers an experience for city folks wanting a taste of it – mesmerising blue and white LED lights brilliantly glitter at this park for the month of December.

From gorgeous sleigh bell ornaments hanging from tree branches and neat dotted rows of lights smattering the grass landscape, the starry night-themed event with several lit displays will surely put you in the Christmas mood.Â
Admission to the event is free, and you can plan a trip here between 7pm to 12am.
Revel in a 38-foot pyramid tree & walk through a starry lights tunnel

Among the displays of illuminating night lights, the Christmas tree stands out – for obvious reasons, with Christmas Day just a couple of weeks away. The 38-foot tree, in the form of a pyramid adorned with brilliant lights, takes centre stage at the park.
Accompanied by the joyous melodies of the holiday season played in the background, you’ll be immersed in the festive mood in no time after spotting the display.Â

Adding to the Christmas spirit is the breathtaking Starry Lights Tunnel decked out with the same captivating blend of blue and white LED lights. Take a stroll through the tunnel, and bask in its ethereal beauty that’ll have you pausing to snap stunning pictures for your IG feed.Â

There are also gorgeous display of Duva Birds, symbolising the harmony of Christmas, neatly arranged along the walkway. There are more than five of them lined up along a pathway which encircles the lake here that’ll leave you spellbound.Â

Additionally, you’ll also encounter a myriad of SOS ocean-themed artworks, beautifully depicting gentle waves and sea animals in their radiant glow. Needless to say, this has become a popular photo-taking spot among visitors.Â
