MINISO Sanrio Sun-Kissed Pop-Up Store in KL
We already love Sanrio characters like Hello Kitty and Kuromi. Give them a little sun-kissed hue, and these characters somehow become extra adorable.
To shop all things sun-tanned from Sanrio, head to the MINISO Sanrio Sun-Kissed Pop-Up Store that’s opening in Kuala Lumpur this August. It’ll have sun-kissed versions of the adorable characters to shop, including blind vinyl plushes and huggable cushions.
When & where is the MINISO Sanrio Sun-Kissed Pop-Up Store?
The summer-style pop-up will open at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur from 31st August to 6th September 2026. The pop-up is located in the mall’s main Centre Court, so you can expect to explore a pretty sizeable space filled with all sorts of sun-kissed Sanrio merchandise in collaboration with MINISO for almost a week.
The sun-tanned merchandise wil also be available at IOI City Mall in Putrajaya, from 21st to 30th September. However, it was not mentioned whether they’ll be part of a pop-up or on the shelves of the MINISO outlet at the Putrajaya mall.

Whether to accessorise your bag on a beach trip or add some colour to your bag, the pop-up will carry adorable Sanrio items such as Kuromi plush keychains, Hello Kitty beach bags, and Cinnamoroll bracelets – all featuring sun-tanned versions of the beloved Sanrio characters.
Expect other fun stuff to shop, including puzzle sets of all the Sanrio characters chilling at the beach, a Hello Kitty x Cinnamoroll umbrella, and sun-tanned Hello Kitty hats and clogs in matching brown shades.

If you’re a hardcore Sanrio fan, you’ll want to be at Pavilion KL on the first day of the pop-up, 31st August. MINISO will be handing out exclusive gifts and fan discounts, which are only available on a first-come, first-served basis. So, be one of the first to line up at the pop-up as early as 10am.
