MINISO Sanrio Sun-Kissed Pop-Up Store in KL
We already love Sanrio characters like Hello Kitty and Kuromi. Give them a little sun-kissed hue, and these characters somehow become extra adorable.
To shop all things sun-tanned from Sanrio, head to the MINISO Sanrio Sun-Kissed Pop-Up Store that’s opening in Kuala Lumpur this August. It’ll have sun-kissed versions of the adorable characters to shop, including blind vinyl plushes and huggable cushions.
When & where is the MINISO Sanrio Sun-Kissed Pop-Up?
The summer-style pop-up opens at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur from 31st August to 6th September 2026. The pop-up is prominently located in the mall’s Centre Court, with a sizeable space filled with all sorts of sun-kissed Sanrio merchandise in collaboration with MINISO.
The sun-tanned merchandise will also head to IOI City Mall in Putrajaya, from 21st to 30th September.
What to expect at the pop-up?Â
Sanrio characters in adorable summer-themed get-ups? Yes, please.
Among the array of reasonably priced Sanrio merch, with a heavy focus on its star Hello Kitty, you’ll find blind boxes of Sanrio characters for RM89.90, as well as the pop-up exclusive Hello Kitty blind box (RM75.90). The latter is a must-get, as the Hello Kitty figurine that sits on the plush in each design turns tan under direct sunlight or UV light.
If you haven’t decided on which bag to start hanging your newly found summer Sanrio keychains, the pop-up carries adorable Hello Kitty and Cinnamoroll bags. There’s a stylish tote bag (RM129.90) with beaded straps and creative pouches and sling bags (RM49.90/each) that come in mini-size and are shaped adorably like a sunhat.
Not to miss out on are the array of key charms.
