King’s Park opening in Genting Highlands in 2026
Nestled amidst breathtaking mountains, Genting Highlands is renowned for its plethora of entertainment attractions and activities. A new addition that locals and tourists alike can look forward to visiting in the near future is a new entertainment hub called King’s Park, which is set to open on the mountaintops.
With over 360 colonial-inspired retail shops and the world’s largest terrarium, King’s Park is expected to open its doors in 2026 and become a haven of shopping, dining, and staycays in Genting Highlands.

Nestled amidst opulent apartments, the prestigious Awana Golf Course, and the renowned Genting Premium Outlet, King’s Park located in Genting Highlands is slated to open its doors in 2026.
As reported by The Star, Executive Director Thanesh Jayandren revealed that King’s Park is part of the grand project that includes the establishment of a luxury boutique hotel and an international retail hub.
The project aims to attract Muslim tourists from around the world, while catering to the high demand for halal-friendly travel and dining options.
He added that as the market for such experiences continue to grow rapidly, King’s Park will be a premiere destination for travellers seeking luxurious halal amenities.
Located halfway to the summit of Genting Highlands and spanning an impressive 61 hectares, King’s Park is the result of a joint collaboration between Genting Highlands Park City and Yuk Tung Group.
With a gross development value of RM10 billion, it is set to be the most highly anticipated integrated entertainment hub in Malaysia.

Visitors to King’s Park can look forward to strolling down a state-of-the-art pedestrian street that stretches an impressive 2,000 metres and will be home to 360 mall shops that face a river.
Exuding a colonial and vintage charm, each of the 12 retail blocks will have its own unique identity, complete with distinct names and facade designs.
Meanwhile, neon lights and mesmerising laser displays will bring the street to life, which is themed ‘The Truly Asia Street’ and set to mimic popular streets in metropolitan cities such as New York, Osaka, and Hong Kong.

An array of exciting attractions is expected to open at King’s Park too. This includes the world’s largest terrarium, the longest waterfall alfresco, and an eco-theme park.
Other projects slated to be part of the project include EHANG passenger drone, a Salaam Halal Hub, and a Grand Parks Luxury Wellness Resorts & Residences.
King’s Park will also bring a high-end shopping experience to Genting Highlands, featuring internationally acclaimed brands that are yet to be available in Malaysia so shoppers can look forward to take their retail therapy here.
