MINISO flagship store at 1 Utama
You’ve likely walked past the bright storefront of a MINISO at a shopping mall before. The China-based retailer currently operates over 30 stores in Malaysia, which feature walls of adorable plushies and aisles of blind boxes beckoning us to look around and shop.
At their new flagship store at 1 Utama Shopping Centre, you can browse for all these items and more. Here, there are dedicated zones for licensed products from BT21, Barbie, Lilo & Stitch, and Pokémon, as well as beauty aisles featuring brands like barenbliss and SKINTIFIC.

The largest MINISO outlet in Malaysia
Find MINISO’s flagship store on the Lower Ground Floor of 1 Utama Shopping Centre, in the mall’s new wing. This is the brand’s largest store in Malaysia yet, spanning a whopping 9,000sqft of floor space.
The eye-catching, all-pink store is sectioned into several zones, so eager shoppers can browse blind boxes, fragrances, accessories, makeup tools, home essentials, snacks, and more easily.
Come prepared to spend at least an hour at the flagship store, as its well-stocked aisles feature all the best of MINISO stores nationwide. From huggable plushies to insulated waters bottles, as well as newly introduced brands and licensed products, the store goes beyond the regular MINISO outlet – in terms of both size and product range.

What you’ll find while shopping at MINISO flagship store
There’s a clear spotlight on MINISO’s licensed products at this flagship store.
Aisles are dedicated to product lines featuring popular characters such as Care Bears, Lots-o’, Minions, Lilo & Stitch, Winnie the Pooh, and more. Illuminated signs for each collection, situated right above the shelves, will help you easily zoom in on a collection.
BT21 zone
Calling all BTS ARMY. MINISO’s collaboration with BT21 has finally arrived on Malaysian shores, and is only available at this flagship store.
Find all sorts of products featuring the adorable BTS-inspired characters, including card holders (RM15.90), key charms (from RM15.90), travel-sized bottles (RM7.90) and cold cups (RM35.90), as well as accessories like bags (RM23.90) and hair bands (RM15.90).
For fans looking to rep Koya, Tata and the gang at school or at the office, stationery items (from RM4.90) such as pens, notebooks, stickers, and pencil cases take up two whole aisles at the store.
A full wall of plush cushions (RM59.90) also acts as a cool photo zone for fans and shoppers.
Barbie zone
The front of the store features MINISO’s collaboration with Barbie. Spot pretty-in-pink items such as micro bags (RM89.90) and ceramic coffee cups that you can work into your OOTD with how eye-catchingly stylish they look.
If pink is just your favourite colour, you’ll be excited to find essentials such as sliders, hair accessories, caps, wallets, and makeup pouches in the beloved Barbie hue.
Pokémon zone
Everyone’s favourite adorable pocket monsters also has a dedicated zone at the flagship store. Find everything Pokémon, from caps and hairbrushes to figurines and night lights, featuring Pikachu and its pals.
Pokémon fans who enjoy self care will be particularly delighted to browse a range of themed personal care items, including bath sponges, eye masks, and towels.
Blind box collectibles
Those obsessed with blind boxes can make a beeline for the blind box collectible area. There are aisles holding ranges of addicting blind boxes (from RM29.50) with mystery Disney princesses, Sanrio characters, Winnie the Pooh, and more.
If Sylvanian Families are your core obsession, you should definitely check out the humongous glass display featuring dozens of the adorable characters going about their lives. The figurines can be purchased individually, in mystery packs (RM35/each) of different series like Baby Fun Hair and Party.
There are also a collection of hobby goods, like these DIY bracelet making kits (from RM11.90).
Beauty products & accessories
Usually well-known for their in-house products with affordable prices, this MINISO outlet has expanded its beauty offerings to include staples from Asian brands such as SKINTIFIC, Y.O.U, Wardah, 16BRAND, and barenbliss.
For those who never leave a beauty store without grabbing a few sheet masks, there are facial sheet masks (RM2.90/each) with essences like avocado and aloe vera.
Create your own mani-pedi station at home, with the help of the spectrum of nail polish colours available at the store. Although each bottle is priced at an affordable RM7.90, they are of surprisingly good quality – a single coat will not leave your fingernails with pesky streaks, as the polishes are pigmented and satisfyingly opaque.
Lovers of hair accessories rejoice. The store carries a wide variety of trendy, candy-coloured clips (from RM3.90) in styles for every aesthetic, and quality hair claws (from RM7.90) to hold any thickness of hair without breaking after three uses.
Home goods
You might have seen videos of those ubiquitous Stanley cups on your TikTok and Instagram feeds. If you’ve been wanting to get one without paying a bomb, good news – this outlet carries quality dupes of the viral drinking vessel, in a variety of colours and themes at just RM49.90.
Sharing the aisle are a range of other insulated bottles, cold cups, and mugs.
The back wall of the store features an enticing collection of scents (from RM15.90) for homes, in visually attractive bottles that is sure to make an aesthetic statement in your home. A full set of testers line the shelves above the products, allowing you to take a whiff and help you make up your mind on which scent to go for.
If you need to replace a kitchen essential in your home, this MINISO outlet also stocks utensils, containers, and lunch bags. Look out quirky items such as the reusable ice cubes in the shape of Disney Tsum Tsum characters.
