M’sia Largest Starbucks Reserve Opens In PJ, Enjoy Opening Promos Till 31st March

New Starbucks Reserve outlet in Tropicana Gardens Mall

Starbucks is a convenient stop for Malaysians who want to sit back and chill with a cup of coffee or their latest seasonal offerings. The coffee chain is so popular here that you’re bound to see a new outlet or two pop up in the vicinity of any budding township or malls. While its regular outlets are scattered around Malaysia, it’s not everywhere that you’ll spot a Starbucks Reserve – concept outlets that have a different menu and speciality coffee for avid coffee drinkers.

Fortunately, those in PJ will have a new Starbucks Reserve to drop by, with one opening today, 9th March 2021, in Tropicana Gardens Mall. Along with stylish interiors and an outdoor patio, there is an opening day promotion of 20% off Reserve Brew Coffee till 31st March. You can also get a free Starbucks Reserve Keychain when you spend over RM150. 

Spacious new outlet with indoor and outdoor seats

Tropicana Gardens Mall is a relatively new mall in town, having only opened their doors back in July 2020. But they’ve quickly become the go-to lepak spot for Malaysians living nearby, as eateries are aplenty here. Now, even those not living in the vicinity will have a reason to drop by, as the largest Starbucks Reserve outlet in Malaysia opens in the mall.

The exterior of the Starbucks Reserve has towering glass panels encasing the store like a giant cylindrical tank. If you’re dropping by in the evenings or at night, it’ll be hard to miss the outlet, as lights from within the store shine through them like a beacon from a lighthouse.

Step inside the store and you’ll be greeted with a snazzy dining area that reflects the store’s unique exterior, with a curved coffee bar dishing out their star drinks, and bar stools for you to grab a seat at and watch the skilled baristas whip up your order.

A wavy, gold light fixture hanging, as well as curved lines on the walls and ceiling, add a sleek, chic touch to the space while also staying true to the store’s employment of curvy lines as design elements.

You’ll also see plush cushioned chairs, wooden chairs and stools, and booth-style seats within the outlet so you can grab what catches your fancy here.

The Reserve Bar for coffee brewed in various ways

As with other Starbucks Reserve outlets, there’s an exclusive Starbucks Reserve menu available at this new store. Their Starbucks Reserve Espresso menu includes Shakeratos (RM18/tall) and Vanilla Bean Latte (RM21.20/Tall), and there are also selections from The Reserve Bar serving Reserve Brew Coffee (from RM18) that lets you customise your coffee cup – from selection of the coffee beans to how it is brewed, Chemex, Siphon, or Pour Over.

Opening discounts for drinks and freebies

Like with all Starbuck outlets openings, there’ll be promotions to check at the new Starbucks Reserve outlet in Tropicana Gardens Mall. From now till 31st March, patrons will get 20% off selected Reserve Brew Coffee, depending on the day of the week: 

• Mondays – Pour Over Brew
• Tuesdays – Siphon Brew
• Wednesdays – Chemex Brew
• Thursdays – Nitro Cold Brew
• Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays – Black Eagle Beverage

There will also be a complimentary Starbucks Reserve Keychain with every spend of over RM150 in a single receipt – on a while-stocks-last basis.

With every purchase of any Reserve beverage, you can opt to buy a Grande-sized Reserve Mocha at RM13 (UP: RM23.30). This offer is valid till 14th March.
