This new glamping retreat, operated by the same folks behind Stellar GoldenHill Cameron, feels wholly and authentically Japanese – from the facilities to the rooms.

Hotel guests can soak away their stress in an outdoor Japanese onsen in the morning, go for a massage at a spa centre in the afternoon, and have tea at a specialty tea room in the evening. At night, there is the Japanese omakase and dining experience to close a perfectly peaceful day at the resort.

There are two types of villas and cottages, each offering different bed layouts and amenities to accommodate different types of guests – from those seeking out a soulful retreat, to those on a family trip, to couples on a romantic getaway.

For that outdoor Japanese bath experience in the privacy of your own room, opt for a stay in their Yama (from RM1,095/night) or Sora Villas (from RM1,188/night). These rooms stand perched over the surroundings for maximum privacy, with each featuring a balcony with an outdoor bathtub and tatami seating area.
Families with little ones can go for the Sora, as it accommodates two adults and two children with a king-sized bed and a sofa bed.

Their Nami (from RM788/night) and Kaku Cottages (from RM688/night) offer a more traditional glamping experience, with luxury tents overlooking a Japanese garden and the surrounding mountains respectively.
