Malaysia’s 2nd Largest Indoor Arena Is Now Open In PJ With Concerts Like RIIZE & EXO’s Baekhyun Lined Up

Idea Live Arena in Petaling Jaya

We haven’t reached the halfway mark of 2025, but the concert lineup in Malaysia is already looking impressive. While our wallets are taking a hit, we can look forward to more nights of live music from our fave artists with a new concert and event venue in Petaling Jaya: Idea Live Arena, which was unveiled on 27th April 2025.

It is the second-largest indoor arena in Malaysia, which means concert-goers can look forward to more tickets during the sales period for upcoming sets that take place there.

Idea Live Arena can hold up to 5,000 seated attendees, or 7,000 in a seated and standing configuration, at a time. The expansive 61,000sqft venue stands as the country’s second-largest indoor arena after Axiata Arena, and the largest indoor arena in a shopping mall.

How to get to Idea Live Arena

As with all concert venues in Malaysia, the question of how to get there is always a hot topic among concert-goers.

If you’re coming by private vehicle, 3 Damansara Mall and Idea Live Arena are easily accessible from KL and PJ via two major highways, Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong and SPRINT.

The four-storey mall has 1,759 car park bays, with affordable parking fees. Motorists will only have to fork out RM1 on weekdays and RM2 on weekends for the first 3 hours of parking. It’s a standard RM1 for every subsequent hour on both weekdays and weekends.

By train, the TTDI MRT Station on the Kajang Line is the closest station to the mall, which is located about a 14-minute walk away. Alternatively, you can opt to hop on the T813 MRT Feeder Bus to 3 Damansara or catch an e-hailing ride for more convenience.

If you’re planning on taking the bus, you can alight at the Pj728 station, which is 5 minutes away from the mall on foot.
