2027 in Malaysia is starting huge with the Kings of K-pop!

The legendary idol group of BigBang is set to perform at TM Stadium Nasional, previously Bukit Jalil National Stadium, on 9th January. This long-awaited milestone tour, titled XX: Cosmos World Tour, also marks the group’s 20th anniversary, which will bring members G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung together for a monumental event in the K-pop industry.

NCT127


Neo City: The Redline Tour – 9th January

No rest in Neo City and for NCTzens. We’ve been drowning deep in comeback announcements and fanmeet content from various subunits in the NEO universe, and here’s another one for Malaysian fans: NCT127 is finally set to head to our lands for a proper concert tour!

After leaving Malaysia off its initial list of Southeast Asian stops, the K-pop boy group has just confirmed Kuala Lumpur as a destination for their Neo City: The Redline Tour. Set for 9th January 2027, the live concert will feature members Taeyong, Johnny, Yuta, Jaehyun and Haechan, while fans will undoubtedly miss the gorgeous voices of Doyoung and Jungwoo, who are currently serving their mandatory military service.

Venue and ticket details have yet to be announced.

It will also do fans good to note that NCT 127 and BigBang’s concerts in Malaysia are set for the same day, so you may want to start contemplating.

Westlife 25: The Anniversary World Tour – 14th January

Millenials’ favourite boyband anthems are coming back to Kuala Lumpur. Westlife is returning to Malaysia on 14th January 2027 as part of the WESTLIFE 25: The Anniversary World Tour, celebrating 25 years of the Irish band’s illustrious career.

Taking place at Unifi Arena, the concert will bring fans a night of classic Westlife hits, from If I Let You Go to My Love and Uptown Girl. In other words, it’s time to dust off that early-2000s playlist.

Carnival II World Tour – 23rd January

Malaysia better be ready for some Mandopop magic heading our way, in the form of Mandopop legend Jay Chou. The superstar is set to return to Kuala Lumpur for his Carnival II World Tour, taking the stage at TM National Stadium this January. Fans can expect a spectacular night of Jay Chou classics, newer hits and the elaborate stage production that has become a signature of his concerts.

First stealing hearts in the early 2000s with hits like All Rise and One Love, Blue are still going strong two decades later, and are slated to perform live at Zepp KL on 24th January 2027, bringing a wave of nostalgia and good vibes to Malaysian fans. The British pop icons are embarking on a tour across Asia in celebration of their 25th anniversary.

A lot has happened for TOMORROW X TOGETHER and their fans, MOA, in 2026. The K-pop group, also known as TXT, wrapped up the ACT: TOMORROW tour, celebrated their 7th anniversary, and released an 8th mini-album this year.

With even more to give back to fans, TXT dropped dates and cities for a 2026-2027 world tour, titled STEAL THE WIND. Malaysian MOA will get to stick with them in 2027 too, as they’ve scheduled a concert in Kuala Lumpur on 13th March 2027.

The multi-hyphenate Young K of Day6 is coming to Malaysia in 2027! The South Korean vocalist, songwriter, musician, rapper, and former radio DJ announced a solo tour, Youngest, timed to the release of his second full-length solo album of the same name. The tour covers seven cities in Asia: Incheon, Bangkok, Taipei, Hong Kong, Singapore, Manila, and Kuala Lumpur.

The Music of STUDIO GHIBLI: Original Singers Symphony – 23rd & 24th April

Malaysians can revel in two nights of Studio Ghibli music magic, as The Music of STUDIO GHIBLI: Original Singers Symphony makes its debut in Malaysia on 23rd and 24th April 2027. The symphony will be performed by the Tokyo Asia Orchestra, and accompanied by singers Yoshikazu Mera, Sumi Shimamoto, Azumi Inoue, and Yuyu, who have lent their voices to theme songs for Ghibli films such as Princess Mononoke, My Neighbour Totoro, and Castle in the Sky.
