Malaysian Swifties, are you ready for it? It’s showgirl time, as Taylor Swift is entering a new era with the release of her album, The Life of A Showgirl, on 3rd October 2025 at 12pm (MYT).
Since the announcement of her new album, Swifties all over the world have been eagerly waiting for new music from the American pop star after she wrapped up her extravagant Eras Tour.
With that in mind, here are some fan events held around Malaysia to celebrate Taylor Swift’s new album.

1. Taylor Swift billboard takeover at Fahrenheit88

Bukit Bintang is about to be lit up in sparkly orange. Malaysian Swifties have planned a fan-support billboard event for Taylor’s new album, which will broadcast on Fahrenheit88’s iconic curved billboard screen in Bukit Bintang, at 1pm on 3rd October.
Arranged by Malaysia’s largest Taylor Swift fan group, Swifties will be gathering around the billboard to celebrate and listen to her album.

2. ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ listening party at House of Wheat

It’s a loaf story at House of Wheat, and it’s time for fans to say yeast to baking, as the KL cafe will be hosting a listening party and sourdough workshop in conjunction with the release of The Life of A Showgirl.
The cafe will be introducing a Taylor Swift-inspired menu for the event, and a sourdough workshop too. Entries for this listening party are on a ticket basis, priced at RM60/person. The evening agenda includes a Starter Class & Trivia session, a ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ listening time, a mini sourdough starter workshop with a sourdough starter kit, and a demonstration of sourdough bread making.

3. The Life of a Swiftie Showgirl by Swifties Season

Malaysian Swifties are likely familiar with Swifties Season, a fan-organised listening party hosted by the Taylor Swift Malaysia fan group. They’ve arranged several listening parties in the past in conjunction with Taylor’s Eras Tour concert film, her album The Tortured Poet’s Department, as well as other album releases.
On 31st October, Swifties Season is back to present a special fan event for the release of The Life of a Showgirl. Expect to scream-cry to tracks off her latest album through the night with fellow Swifties, and also a fan-led engagement party for Taylor and her fiancé.

4. The Swifties Night at lyf Georgetown

Penang Swifties, there’ll be no need to drive down to KL to join a Swiftie event. A slice of Taylor Swift mania is coming your way, as Run For Cover Fest and Who’s Ur Party are organising a special listening party to celebrate the drop of The Life of a Showgirl in Georgetown.
Spend the night listening to special performances and DJ sets while sipping on drinks and karaoke-ing at Penang’s snazzy lyf Georgetown. Tickets start from RM30, and are inclusive of one free drink.

5. Court of a Showgirl at Padel Revolution

Get ready to duke it out on the padel courts and stretch your body while getting to know other Swifties, as fans have organised a padel and pilates gathering inspired by Taylor Swift’s new album.
The one-day social gathering event comprises a pilates session, followed by an introduction to padel, and finally, a brunch affair and a prize-giving ceremony for the most valuable player and the best-dressed.
Tickets for this event go for RM100/person, and come with:
