EVA Malaysia at Monkeys Canopy Resort, Cheras
VR technology has been around for some time, with even more games supporting VR functions in recent years. For the uninitiated, VR is a virtual reality simulation where you can experience a virtual world with 3D near-eye displays.
In Cheras, you can find one of KL’s top VR experiences, operated by EVA Malaysia. This VR gaming arena has shooter games with over 10 different maps to explore with friends and family, or on your own.
Surviving zombie attacks & defending bases

EVA Malaysia is an esports arena located at Monkeys Canopy Resort in Cheras. Here, players start by choosing a game and then putting on VR headsets along with whichever VR controller is compatible with the chosen game. For example, shooting games require gun-shaped controllers.
Picture this: a spacious arena where you can run about freely as you wear VR headsets and carry gun controllers. To outsiders, it may seem ridiculous and make for a good silly video. But to you, you’re fully immersed in the virtual world, fighting off enemies and clearing levels.

Among the games that you can play in the arena is Moon of the Dead, in which players are challenged to survive a virtual zombie outbreak. To complete the challenge, you have to get past five levels. This thrilling adventure can be enjoyed by up to 10 players per session.

If you’re a fan of Valorant and FPS games, you’ll enjoy Battle Arena. This competitive team game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where you either survive with your team or it’s every man for himself. It offers five different game modes you can choose from:
| Game Modes | Description |
| Team Deathmatch | A classic shooter game: the team with the most eliminations, wins. |
| Free For All | Every man or woman for themselves. The players with the most eliminations, wins. |
| Strategic Domination | Domination mode: capture and defend the points placed on the map. The first team to fully capture the points, wins. |
| Skirmish | Eliminate the opposing team or capture the central point to win a round. Any death is permanent, and eliminated players can help their teammates from the observation cells. |
| Hardpoint | Two teams battle each other to secure the hardpoints and defend them from enemy attacks. Players are required to stay in their zone to secure points, and prevent enemies from entering. |
For all the game modes, you can choose from 14 maps as the setting for your battle arena. All of the maps are compatible with Strategic Domination mode and can host up to 10 players.

If you’re looking forward to experiencing FPS games and shooting down zombies in virtual reality, gather your friends and head to EVA Malaysia at Monkeys Canopy, Cheras.
