Cheesecake connoisseurs and casual followers of the dessert alike are in love with their 6th Avenue cheesecake (RM20 per slice) and would reportedly keep returning for it. 5. Huckleberry Food & Fare – Basque burnt cheesecake

Huckleberry was one of the first few cafes in the Klang Valley to put the Basque burnt cheesecake (RM18 per slice), a version of the dessert that doesn’t come with a crust and is baked at a very high temperature, on their menu. Theirs are made with French cream cheese and organic eggs, baked till they achieve a lightly charred “crust” on the outside and a creamy, thick cheese texture on the inside.
Even though Basque burnt cheesecakes are pretty commonplace now, Huckleberry’s remains a favourite as proven by their long waiting list during weekends, so be sure to head there early in the morning so you won’t have to queue as long.
