Emulating major Barbiecore vibes on our shores is London’s cafe chain called EL&N Cafe, which recently debuted their very first outlet in Asia in Malaysia. Located right by the city’s premier shopping district Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, the cafe is a true pink haven that looks like a rosy spring garden.

If you chance upon an outburst of pink at Pavilion KL, it isn’t another extravagant Barbie movie promo that has drenched the world hot pink. EL&N Cafe is a famous cafe hailing from London that’s known for their hot pink and flower-coated interiors, with decadent pastries that are equally as pleasing to the eyes.
Whether you’re familiar with the brand or not, the cafe’s official debut in Asia with an outlet in Malaysia has got everyone buzzing about its over-the-top aesthetics.

Beckoning avid photobugs and sugar-loving crowds with its cheery blossom-clad facade and unabashedly pink interiors, EL&N Cafe on Level 3 of Pavilion KL will please anyone in search of dreamy and opulent backdrops during a coffee pitstop. The cafe is a posy paradise, with pastel pink flowers blooming from the ceilings and neon signs in cursive decorating the walls.
The kaleidoscope-like polychromatic windows that encircle the shop add a touch of trippy to the cafe’s dainty vibe, while allowing natural lighting to flood into the dining area for those epic food shots.

Ravishing eats, cakes & drinks
EL&N Cafe has the kind of menu that you’ll expect a lusciously pink cafe – avocado toasts, healthy smoothie bowls, pretty desserts, and ombre drinks that are as delectable as they are colourful.

For savoury brunch meals, there’s the Eggs Royale (RM42) with beautifully poached eggs sit pretty atop English muffins and covered in a lava of chilli butter and thick hollandaise sauce, creating an ingenious collision between the fatty yolk running into the pores of the warm muffins when cut open
Heavier mains include sandwiches, pastas, and burgers that’ll tide you through the day. Go for the Katsu Crab Burger (RM46) that has buttery burger buns barely sandwiching a behemoth of a fried soft shell crab, the Creamy Chicken & Truffle Rigatoni (RM48), or Nasi Lemak Arancino (RM32) that’s a huge Sicilian fried rice ball with flavours that taste like home.

If you prefer having a sweet brunch, this cafe is the ideal place to satisfy your dessert-for-breakfast fantasies with their signature stacks of ethereally soft brioche toasts smothered with Nutella (RM35) or Honey (RM30), and garnished with a feast of berries.
Their array of desserts are such a feast for the eyes, they are nearly too pretty to be eaten. Take your pick among their bestsellers, including the gorgeously layered Honey Cake (RM24), the decadent yet piquant Rose Macaron (RM32), or a lush slice of Lotus Dulche De Leche (RM26).
