A fish and chips spot run by a father-son duo from Singapore, Lad & Dad sits at a quieter corner of Wisma Cosway. But it’s not undiscovered by any means, with tables packed with diners during lunch and dinner hours.
The fish and chips here are made with Perch (RM29.90) or premium Haddock (RM51.90) from Norway. You get the classic mushy peas and chips on the side, and a choice of condiments from a strong lineup. Go for the ones with a local twist, the spicy tartar and sambal aioli, as these are hard finds elsewhere and perfect for anyone who likes a kick and a surprise.

2. Mama Lek
Worth-it Thai beef noodles
You won’t need to whip out Google Maps to find Mama Lek. Just follow the queue that often forms on the ground floor of Wisma Cosway, from the entrance of this no-frills, compact Thai street food restaurant that has racked up rave reviews on Google.
This eatery serves up hearty Thai-style beef noodles starting from RM16.90, which are worth the wait if you happen to bump into the lunch crowd. Expect thick, tender beef slices paired with silky noodles and a rich, aromatic broth that hits all the right flavour notes.
3. Wild Sheep Chase
Rotating menu of unique gelato flavours
For dessert or a quick morning coffee run, or dessert in the morning if you’re feeling wild, Wild Sheep Chase is your go-to for unique gelato flavours and drinks.
From crowd favourites such as the Bitter Caramel to adventurous picks like Coriander or Tofu Osmanthus, this gelato shop’s rotating menu keeps things exciting. Expect bold flavours that may surprise your taste buds – in a good way.
A scoop of gelato starts from RM8.90. But if you’ve fallen in love with a flavour, you can get gelato tubs starting from RM18 to bring home and share.
4. Francobolli

Francobolli is a must-visit for pasta lovers. Only open three days a week, this hole-in-the-wall restaurant serves handmade pasta with rich, flavourful sauces.
Their wagyu beef ragu (RM32) is a standout, with a tomato-based sauce paired with tender beef and ribbons of pasta. The tiramisu (RM15) is decadent and another must-try here.
Seats are limited at Francobolli, so come early, or be prepared to join the line outside the shop. As the restaurant is still in their soft launch period, their menu is limited, but enough to satisfy all your cravings for pasta and tiramisu.

5. Nommeco
Vegan-friendly sushi
For a meal that completely ditches the meat, head to nommeco. This vegan-friendly gem on the third floor of Wisma Cosway serves fully vegan sushi, that is, no meat, dairy products, or eggs are involved in the making of their sushi.
Sets of 8 sushi start from RM18.40, making it both a healthy and affordable option. You can find plant-based Unagi Nigiri, Tuna Uramaki, and Ground Beef Gunkan on the menu. Their sauces are also vegan-friendly and made by the owner of the restaurant himself.
The shop doesn’t really offer much seating, but their boxes are convenient for takeaway.
6. Yashinomi
Comforting Japanese dishes
If you are craving Japanese food, delivers comforting Japanese dishes with a homely touch from an izakaya-style space. Find almost every go-to Japanese dish to order here, including Omurice (from RM26), Udon (from RM19), and Okonomi-Yaki (RM23).

7. Boys Don’t Fry

Located outside Wisma Cosway, Coffee Up is perfect for anyone looking for a quick caffeine fix. With its grab-and-go setup, it is ideal for busy mornings, though there are a few seats available outside the store if you prefer to slow things down.
