Malaysia Coffee Week is being held during October at 1 Utama
Coffee lovers and enthusiasts rejoice – Malaysia Coffee Week is back, and happening from 2nd to 5th October 2025 at 1 Utama. Organised by the Malaysian Specialty Coffee Association, the event spotlights Malaysia’s ever-flourishing specialty coffee scene. Whether you’re just an enjoyer of a good cup of joe or an inquisitive hobbyist who wants to learn more about coffee, you can interact and enjoy Malaysia’s robust coffee culture at the event.
What to expect at Malaysia Coffee Week

Commemorate and immerse yourself in Malaysia’s coffee culture at this limited event, while connecting and learning from coffee aficionados and local coffee bean producers.
Visitors can sample coffees from local and international specialty coffee producers and discuss coffee tasting with expert baristas. Aside from that, visitors can also purchase coffee beans and coffee-making equipment at special prices exclusive to Malaysia Coffee Week 2025 and even buy-1-free-1 deals.

All eyes are on the barista competition
Apart from local coffee producers sharing their roasts and bean blends at the event, visitors can also witness a line-up of barista teams brewing up a storm. These barista teams will be competing for the chance to represent Malaysia at the ASEAN Barista Team Championship 2026 and win RM4,000 in cash.
Several barista teams will be participating in this event, including 103 Coffee, TBX Coffee and Roastery, Omni Crew, and Magnificent Park Bakery.

Visit Malaysia Coffee Week to sip on fresh brews
Kopi has always had a long history in Malaysian culture. From kopitiams to mamak stalls serving up piping cups of this aromatic brown concoction, Malaysians from all walks of life have been appreciating the drink for decades.
