Qi Odyssey in Bukit Jalil
With the hustle and bustle of everyday life, a sense of well-being and relaxation is just what we need for a little pick-me-up. Reflexology is one way to relieve muscle aches, particularly in our feet, which are rarely given the TLC they deserve.
Joining the shop offices near Pavilion Bukit Jalil is Qi Odyssey. This new spa offers a combination of pampering foot soaks complete with aesthetically appealing bath bombs, as well as a Chinese teahouse.
We recently visited the outlet to bring you this guide, so you know what to expect on a visit here.
Oil-free massages & complimentary drinks
Qi Odyssey’s second outlet is strategically located near Pavilion Bukit Jalil, which means that you can head here after your shopping spree.
As we entered the outlet, we could already feel the spa’s calming and nature-inspired vibe – not to mention the exceptional hospitality of the staff, who greeted us with warm smiles. As first-timers to the parlour, we were unsure about which treatment to choose. But the friendly masseuse helpfully explained each of the available services and packages to us.
We decided to go with the Triple Treasure Massage (RM158 for 90 minutes), a signature package that includes a warm foot soak, reflexology, and an upper body massage. The massages are completely oil-free so you won’t need to remove your clothes – this means you won’t feel sticky after a session too.
After selecting our package, our shoes were sanitised and we were each given a pair of comfortable slides to wear. We were also served complimentary refreshing honey and lemon tea while we waited.
During the session, the masseuse used gentle pressure on specific points on our necks, shoulders, and backs. We could also let our masseuse know which areas of our bodies needed more attention. They would then gently apply lotion for skin hydration before attentively tackling any aching spot.
Aesthetically-appealing bath bombs & affordable packages
For an extra RM5, you can opt for scented bath bombs to level up your spa session. Choose from options such as Ingot, which is infused with mandarin orange essential oil, or Lotus, which is filled with rose and mint. We went with the koi-shaped bath bomb infused with honey and lemon essential oils, which smelled deliciously fragrant.
The relaxing foot soak relaxes the muscles before the reflexology treatment. Alternatively, you can select the Chinese herbal foot soak for no additional charge, which has invigorating ingredients such as ginger root, saffron, and artemisia argyi.
We recommend the bath bomb foot soak, which was worth the small extra free. The nutrients from the essential oil left our feet feeling smooth and supple. Plus, it was captivating to watch the bath bomb sizzle into warm water around our feet.
Depending on how much time you have for the day, you can choose to pamper yourself with a selection of half body massages or foot soaks that last from 30 to 120 minutes. For starters, there’re the Silver Cloud Massage (from RM68/30 minutes) for a half-body massage and Monk’s Feet Massage (RM98/45 minutes) – the latter is a relaxing hot foot soak and massage combo.
A private room is also available upon request with a minimum spend of RM500, if you prefer an undisturbed session with your friend.
Selection of scrumptious snacks and beverages
Another unique thing about Qi Odyssey’s packages is the complimentary snack they serve to you during your massage. Choose an item from a variety of traditional treats such as the light and delicate Kuih Bangkit (RM3.90), buttery Pineapple Tart (RM3.90), deep-fried crispy Twist Roll (RM3.90), or the spicy and savoury Shrimp Roll (RM3.90).
Also add on refreshing thirst quenchers such as Rose Lychee Kombucha or Strawberry Watermelon, each priced RM13.90.

Visiting Qi Odyssey’s new outlet was a pleasant experience for us, and an ideal place for a day of catching up with friends while enjoying a relaxing reflexology. So, if you’re looking to relieve your muscle aches – whether they be in your feet or upper body – consider dropping by this spot for a pampering session complete with a complimentary drink and snack.
