Decked out as a magical manor like no other, the Wizarding World Suite in Petaling Jaya is an IRL wizarding residence with interiors inspired by locations that fans will easily recognise from the legendary franchise. From RM377 per night, the suite is able to accommodate up to five guests – so you’ll want to summon your Potterhead pals for a staycay here.
The two-bedroom suite welcomes guests to Platform 9 ¾ at its entrance, which is complete with the familiar red-brick walls and a trolley “merging” with the wall and headed towards Hogwarts Express and the magical realm.

Nods to the wizarding world are found in every nook and cranny of the apartment. The space is furnished and adorned with a melange of Harry Potter memorabilia, including a chest of Quidditch equipment, portraits of the characters on the walls that are reminiscent to the moving ones in the films, a cabinet of potions, and pots of Mandrake plants that thankfully, do not screech.

There’s even a corner dedicated to Mr. Ollivander’s Wand Shop – a beloved shop at Diagon Alley where young witches and wizards buy their wands – and also a cabinet packed with wand cases that is an impressive replica of the one in the movies.
The living room is a faithful recreation of Dursleys’ spick and span one at No 4 Privet Drive, with pink flowery cushions and a faux fireplace that has a flurry of Hogwarts acceptance letters “spewing” out through the chimneys.

Dine in grandeur at the dining area that has been dressed out to imitate the Great Hall of Hogwarts where witches and wizards feast on a gourmet spread.

Spot more sprinklings of wizarding trinkets such as the striking banners of all four houses of Hogwarts, the floating candles above the dining table, and the Sorting Hat casually resting amongst candlesticks on the dining table.

The cosy sleeping dens are absolute havens for Potterheads as well.
If you’re a full-fledged Gryffindor, you’ll love the one which looks like a perfectly appointed Gryffindor dorm at Hogwarts. The decorative rugs, tapestry, and cosy four-poster beds lined with banners of the same crimson red and yellow all come together to make you feel wholly like a Hogwarts student.

The second bedroom will have you living your candy-sweet dreams. Heavily themed about the wizarding sweet shop at Hogsmeade called Honeydukes, you’ll find shelves of succulent-looking candies wrapped up in eccentric packaging – think Chocolate Frogs, Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans, honey toffees, levitating sherbet balls, and exploding bonbons.
