Julie’s pop-up events for Chinese New Year
Bai nian season means family, new fits, and ang pows. It also means feasting on containers of Chinese New Year cookies and snacks that we all grew up loving and don’t mind risking a sore throat over.
As CNY draws closer, you’ll want to have your house all stocked up with these goodies. If you’re looking for a traditional CNY snack with a slight upgrade, you’ll be delighted to know that Julie’s has new limited edition flavours in their Love Letters series.
Better yet, they’ll be having pop-up events at 1 Utama and Sunway Velocity Mall where you can not only get your hands on these biscuits, but also take part in exciting activities and stand chances to win free gifts.
Julie’s new Love Letters flavours
The season of feasting continues throughout Chinese New Year, and Julie’s is here to help with the snacking game.
We may already be familiar with their usual range of Love Letters biscuits – with flavours including Vanilla, Chocolate, and Strawberry – but there are new flavours coming to town.
There will be the new limited edition Lemon-flavoured Love Letters, reminiscent of all things citrusy and tangy during CNY.
For something quintessential, Julie’s will also be putting a spin on their original Golden Eggy Rolls in the form of exclusive Sesame Eggy Rolls – the perfect accompaniment for jolly mahjong sesh during CNY.
These two new biscuits will only be available for CNY 2024 – so you’ll want to be quick to get your hands on them. The Lemon-flavoured Love Letters are available at selected shops along with the rest of the Love Letters series, while the Sesame Eggy Rolls will only be available on Julie’s official Shopee and Lazada stores.
Snag freebies at Julie’s Love Letters Prosperity Adventure pop-ups
Another way to get your hands on the above exclusive CNY flavours is at Julie’s Love Letters Prosperity Adventure pop-up events, currently held at malls around KL – so pop by one of these locations as you’re getting your CNY shopping in.
From 3rd to 7th January, you can find the event at 1 Utama shopping centre. Fret not if you’re not in the area on these dates – the roadshow will make its way to Sunway Velocity Mall from 11th till 14th January.
It’ll be hard to miss the pop-up while you’re at the malls. Located at the ground floor of both venues are massive structures of the brand’s biscuit tubs. You can even snap photos in a festively-decorated train station.
Besides the photo ops around the pop-up, there are freebies up for grabs.
Drop at least RM100 on biscuits in a single receipt, and you’ll score a token to try out your gacha-luck at the gachapon station. You can win gifts such as Love Letters plushies, Julie’s 2024 CNY ang pows, Julie’s pastry mat, or a packet of either the Sweet Chilli Cheese or Sour Cream Onion Sandwich.
