Lauv returns to Malaysia in September 2023
Among the many things that were halted during the Covid-19 pandemic are live concerts and performances. So it’s been exciting to hear numerous artists announcing tour dates in Malaysia.
While we’ve already been spoiled with concerts from artists like Simple Plan and Blackpink this year already, concert-loving Malaysians will be stoked to know there’s yet another concert to look out for – this time, from Lauv. The American singer-songwriter will be returning to Malaysia to perform live in KL this September, so fans will want to get ready to sing their hearts out to his greatest hits.

On 28th April, American pop musician Lauv shared on his social media channels that he’ll be embarking on an upcoming Asia tour – sending his fans in Asia into a frenzy almost immediately.
The extensive tour – titled the between albums tour – will be happening from August to September, with a total of 11 concerts scheduled in the Asia region. Much to Malaysians’ delight, the singer will be stopping by Kuala Lumpur as well. Other major cities on the list are Tokyo, Osaka, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Seoul, Taipei, Jakarta, Singapore, Cebu, and Manila.

Lauv’s concert in Malaysia is set to take place at Plenary Hall, KL Convention Centre on 6th and 7th September 2023, and it’ll feature Alexander 23, also an American singer-songwriter, as a guest performer.
Tickets for the concert will go on sale on 5th May from 11am onwards on Go Live Asia. But eager fans will want to cop pre-sale tickets, which will be available on 4th May on Live Nation Malaysia.

Lauv’s most recent performance in Malaysia isn’t very recent at all. The singer-songwriter’s last concert in Malaysia was back in 2019. After nearly four years, fans are understandably fidgety with excitement to listen to the singer serenade them with love songs live again.

A multi-platinum certified singer, songwriter, producer, and pop visionary, Lauv has entranced listeners all over the world with his raw and swoony hits such as I Like Me Better, Paris In The Rain, Never Not, and I’m So Tired.
In between dominating music charts, selling out shows, and collaborating with globally known artists such as BTS and Troye Sivan, Lauv released his latest album called All 4 Nothing in 2022. The album is his second full-length album, and his most personal one yet.
The pop singer hinted that his setlist will include many of his older iconic hits, as well as fan-favourites from his latest album.
Lauv to hold concert in Malaysia in 2023
With Lauv’s last concert in Malaysia being in 2019, there’ll definitely be tons of eager fans and open wallets waiting to snatch up tickets to his concert. After all, we’re pretty sure that I Like Me Better sounds even better live.
