It’s the kind of place you’ll want to boast about on the ‘Gram – whether it be about their unique decor or drinks.

Step into Sphere Rooftop Bar and feel as if you’ve been whisked miles away from Earth. While you won’t actually be flying high into the atmosphere, this new cocktail bar’s space certainly looks like – well – space.

Located on the rooftop of Chulia Mansion Hotel, Sphere Rooftop Bar has a space that’s entirely cosmic-themed – it seems almost otherworldly.
The bar’s overall ambience is dark and moody. But beneath the starry arch of the open night sky, it glows in luminescent moon-blue from neon lights that deck and line the terrace. When lights reflect upon the steel decorations and glass furnishings – including magnetic-looking spheres for table legs – you’ll be enthralled by the mystical and celestial vibes here.

It’s not everyday that you can sip on tipples by the moon. But with a massive sculpting of a moon on a wall of the bar – which is impressively realistic with craters, pits, and even a pulsing halo glow – you’ll feel as if you’re dining right next to a literal moon.

This cocktail bar serves signature drinks that also sound out of this world. Aptly and ethereally named, the drinks stand out not just because of their eccentric flavours, but their dreamlike aesthetics will have you starry-eyed too.

One of their signature concoctions is Counting Stars (RM48), which fuses Eastern and Western flavours. Tieguanyin tea is mixed with Kaoliang liquor, yuzu, grapefruit, lychee, citrus and rose in this drink.

Another drink worth trying is Sphere’s Oddity (RM48), which comes served in a gorgeous globe glassware. It’s whiskey and plum wine, blended with hints of yuzu, lime, honey and – for a good kick – wasabi.
For an intriguing medley of flavour profiles, A Wild Eclipse (RM45) is a vodka-based cocktail with Lillet Blanc infused with citrus, thyme and wild mushrooms. Those who prefer a familiar and sweet creation can go for Beyond Earth’s Atmosphere (RM42), a smouldering truffle-washed bourbon drink with hints of caramel and bitter chocolate.
