Great British Circus returns to Klang Valley
Where everything illuminates and dreams flourish, circuses are are simply tantalising and where our inner child comes alive. The combination of signature striped tents, riot of colours, awe-inspiring performances, and the spirit of childlike excitement in the air – they are nothing less than magical.
If it has been a long while since you experienced the glitz and glam of an uproarious circus, the Great British Circus is making its return to Klang Valley. The legendary circus from the United Kingdom will be setting its tents up at 3 locations to exhilarate everyone – the young and old alike.

If the Hollywood musical, The Greatest Showman, left you wonderstruck as you left the cinema, the Great British Circus will bewitch you fully. The famed circus in Malaysia is bringing its entire troupe to the Klang Valley area and will be performing at three different locations from 16th June 2023.
Emanating a whole lot of artistry and boldness, the circus will showcase the golden and glamorous era of Hollywood – their central theme this time around.
You’ll want to get your rumbling tummy out of the way while you’re enjoying the show, so grab yourself something to munch on from a Snacks Bar inside the circus tent, which sells treats such as hotdogs, popcorn, fries, and cotton candy.
Once you have your food haul, head into the largest red tent, where the magic begins.
Acrobatic performances, motorcycle stunts & a laser light show
Settle into your seat and be prepared to be entranced by performances that are diverse but blend well together. From jaw-dropping acrobatic performances to impressive motorcycle stunts, the show features a skilled circus crew hailing from the US, South America, and Europe.
The night begins with a laser light show, where you’ll be dazzled by an extravagant show of incandescent laser rays emitted from a large “UFO”. Then, watch in awe as world-class BMX riders swerve and spin with finesse up and down a ramp.
Several acrobatic performances with various themes will have you gaping in awe, with contortionists twisting and bending into unimaginable positions in mid-air with the perfect flourishes, utterly elegant and wholly unfazed.

Get tickled by the quirks and goofy jokes of the resident clown – if you’re lucky enough, you’ll be invited onstage to be the victim of his cheeky antics. Other performances to look forward to include enthralling musical performances and spine-chilling motorcycle stunts within a spherical cage.
A main highlight is the 30-feet tall King Kong animatronic that looms over the circus ring. Spectators are welcomed to snap a picture with the moving King Kong for a fee of RM40 during intermission.
Admission prices during the weekdays are:
- Standard Seats: RM50/adult and RM30/child (3 to 12 years old)
- Hot Seats: RM70/adult and RM40/child
- VIP Seats: From RM50
While admission prices during the weekends and public holidays are:
- Standard Seats: RM60/adult and RM40/child (3 to 12 years old)
- Hot Seats: RM80/adult and RM50/child
- VIP Seats: From RM60
