RUD Karting: Go-Karting Spot In Johor Bahru With Rides From RM55/pax & An Industrial-themed Cafe

RUD Karting, go-kart track in Johor Bahru

For thrill-seekers, burning off steam after a busy week typically involves adventurous activities or hikes up scenic trails. Go-karting is among the list, as it serves up its share of adrenaline fix that lets those with an adventurous bone in their bodies live out their racing dreams – while abiding by the law, of course.

Over in Johor Bahru, there’s RUD Karting – a buzzing karting centre in Iskandar Puteri with go-kart rides that start at RM55/pax, and with no driver’s license required. Besides speeding down a 840m track, there’s also an in-house cafe here that serves Asian and Western food for you to fuel up after you’ve made your rounds on the track.

Located just a 5-minute drive from Sunway Big Box, RUD Karting in Nusajaya is a recently-opened go-kart centre with a 840m racing track comprising 16 thrilling turns. It also opens daily till 2am, for night owls looking for a fun, late-night activity.

You won’t have to fret if your only karting experience derives from racing games, as there’s no need to show a driver’s license to drive a kart here. This new karting spot has two types of rental karts – a single-driver basic kart suitable for first-timers and advanced riders, and a two-seater kart for those coming in a pair or parents with kids.

Basic Kart (RM55 for a 10-minute session) is recommended for first-timers with limited go-karting experience. You can try your hand at zooming around the track at an impressive speed of up to 60km/h.

Twin Kart (RM75 for a 10-minute session) is another option for first-timers here, as this two-seater go-kart with a pair of steering wheels allows budding racers to take on the race tracks with someone else, like their SO, friend or kid by their sides. This go-kart can go up to 55km/h for just-as-thrilling rides.

For karting regulars, there’s an advanced B Stage Kart (RM70) with a top speed of 70km/h for thrill-seekers to legally live out a Need For Speed scenario in the flesh.

Those with MyKads can drop by on a weekday between 2pm-6pm to score deals for repeated rides on Basic Kart (RM135/3 sessions) and B Stage Kart (RM195/3 sessions).
