The Hooton Retreat offers guests a relaxing space to unwind at in a lush rainforest in Kuala Klawang. Instead of traditional canvas tents that are typically associated with nature retreats, this glamping site has several stargazing-friendly bubble domes with boho-chic decor including a huge rattan bed.

Guests can laze around inside without feeling like they’re missing out on much in the outdoors, as the semi-transparent bubble domes lets you marvel at the glittery splendour of the night sky and nature – all while shielded from pesky insects and the hot weather.

Besides basking in the views from your room, The Hooton Retreat also has a slew of exciting outdoor activities for guests to try on its grounds, including archery and adrenaline-filled flying fox.

If you’re willing to go all out with a luxurious dome, there’s Dome Tyto (from RM1,580/night) that has a private outdoor jacuzzi, and is recommended for couples looking to have a romantic getaway.

If bubble dome tents are not your thing, opt for the premium Villa Aegolius (from RM2,480/night) – an all-glass villa surrounded by a canopy of trees. This two-storey accommodation is roomy enough to house a group of eight, and has modern comforts such as a kitchen, dining area, and even a viewing deck.

Another villa here is the Bubo Cote Studio5 (from RM1,000/night), which is recommended for a small family looking to have a staycay with a swimming pool and outdoor dining area just a walk away.
