Big Bad Wolf Box Sale returns to Penang
For bookworms, nothing beats the fun of trawling through endless piles of books to sniff out great book titles. If you love books and a great deal, the Big Bad Wolf Box Sale is returning to Penang from now till 8th May 2022 with thousands of books in every genre for you to peruse.
You won’t be short of time either, as the event will be open from 10AM till midnight at the carpark of Lotus’s Tanjung Pinang. Here’s what we know about the book sale.

Imagine a buffet with unlimited food options – but swap out the food with books.
At the Big Bad Wolf Box Sale, shoppers can choose boxes in different sizes and fit as many book titles as they can in them.

Once you’ve purchased a box at the entrance, you can start browsing for books and experience the high of a book fair again. Avid readers can have their pick of genres, including fiction, non-fiction, self-help, manga and children’s books – the world is your oyster. There are even a variety of titles in English and Malay.
The sale opens its doors from 10AM till 12AM, so you can spend as much time as you want browsing through books because time stops when we are surrounded by endless selection of books.

There are two box sizes to choose from – small (RM99.90) or big (RM119.90). For serious book lovers who need more space for their new finds, shoppers can opt for the Combo Box (RM199.90) which comprises two boxes – one small and one big – at a discounted price.
Should you be planning to begin a home library, the Fuyoh Bundle (RM299.90) consists of three big boxes.
When your boxes have been stuffed to the brim with books – and the flaps of the boxes are still able to close – you can proceed to the checkout counter to have them sealed, and present your receipt of purchase.
For an extra discount, shop at Lotus’s and present your supermarket receipt at the Big Bad Wolf Box Sale to score 5% off a minimum box purchase of RM99.90.
Books from as low as RM2
At the Big Bad Wolf Box Sale, there are also a variety of Malay language books brought in by Kualiti Books, thanks to their partnership with Big Bad Wolf. Though educational and entertainment Malay-language books from them will be excluded from the Box Deals, you can find reading materials going from as low as RM2.

Besides shopping for books, a Colouring Contest will be held on the afternoon of 30th of April and 1st of May 2022. This is open to participants of all ages, who want to unleash their artistic side by colouring an illustrated drawing by children’s book author and illustrator Lisa Wee from Penang.
